William M. Gillespie (Bill)

Bill assumed the position of Music Director at Edgemont the first week of September,2007. His duties not only entail the job of Choir Director but leading the Sunday Morning, Sunday Evening and Wednesday night Prayer meeting congregational music. Bill has arranged music for musical groups for over 35 years. His musical career has led him on tour with various music groups covering the entire United States. Musical Instruments that Bill enjoys playing include the Guitar, Bass Guitar and Drums. He has a Audio Engineering Degree from The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe,Ohio and has recorded most ,if not all, of the musical performers in the Bluefield , Princeton  and surrounding areas. He taught Guitar at the old "Sounds Of Today"music store in Princeton,WV for 2 years in 1991 and 1992 before moving to Bluefield College where he taught Guitar for  6 years. He is the son of Edgemont Charter member Shirley Gillespie and the "late" Robert L. Gillespie.
